The original Deer Me Trio -- created in 2000, three years before I decided to make a comic called "Deer Me" -- was Velvet, Woola, and Viana. I actually had started writing two stories -- one focusing on Velvet and one focusing on Woola -- when I started the webcomic and things changed entirely, including the main character lineup.
